Band´s name (A)

This is the name shown in the profile, search results, categories, tags... It can be different form that used to sign up at ProEPK.

Brief text (B)

This is the text shown under the band´s name, and also appears in search results and other parts of the site. It has to be a unique paragraph, explaining in short the most remarkable facts of the group. Max. 300 characters.

Main picture (C)

This is the institutional picture, and will be used throughout the site. The file, a JPG with 72dpi resolution and a maximum size of 700x466 pixels.

It is important to use exactly these requisites, as pictures with other resolutions or size will be automatically adjusted, so the picture could be cropped or expanded. Caption (D) and credits (E) are available for the main picture

Zip Code: although this information is not directly shown in the profile, it is taken into account when searches are performed.
State and Country
Web page: a link to the oficial site, or any other band´s URL (MySpace, Facebook, etc.)
Label: label´s name. Should the band not work with any, it is advisable to leave this field blank, as some users do search for bands without a label. (A)
Management (or Booking): name for the booking or management agency. As with the previous field, it is better to leave this field blank in case the band doesn´t work with any, as some users do search for bands without management/booking agency.
Contact: email where you want to receive all messages sent via your contact form at ProEPK. (B)

This email address can be different form the one used to sign up at ProEPK. This is very handy if, for example, the maintenance of ProEPK will be carried out by a different person than that one taking the booking work.

Published in: this is the main genre of the profile, you´ll choose from a list containing different musical genres.
Tagged under: two more genres are asociated with the profile, so the band´s music can be better described. Main and secondary genres are shown at "Tagged under". (C)
Attachments. Three attachments of up to 3MB can be published in the profile. This is very handy for the technical rider, promo sheet, hi-res pictures, etc. (D)

This section can´t be used to include any music. Attachments containing music files (of any kind) will be deleted.

Press reviews (A)

A profile can contain up to 10 press reviews. Each of these reviews contains:

Text. 300 characters maximum.
Mass media name and publishing date.
Link. In case it is desired to provide a link to the article (or site), an URL can be pointed.

Biography

This is the main/official band´s biography. It will contain a maximum of 3000 characters, and can use different paragraphs and normal / bold / italic words.

Discography (B)

The band´s musical works are shown in this section. For each of them, it is needed:

Cover picture. JPG, with 72dpi resolution and 150x150 pixels size.
Títle, Duration (EP, CD, Others) and Publishing year.
Label. (Optional)

Videos

The profle may contain up to two videos, offered in streaming from any video platform (You Tube, Vimeo, etc.). You only have to tell us the platform and the video ID (ie, "Youtube - Ui6py81ypbQ").

Press releases

Up to 10 downloable press relases can be stored in your profile. For each of them you have to provide:

Downloable file. In PDF, DOC o RTF format. Max size 500KB (each).
Title. It will be used to create the link to the PR.
Date and release city.

Galería

The profile´s image gallery (A) is made up of up to six pictures (in adittion to the main one). The format for these pictures will be JPG, with 72dpi max. resolution, and sizes of 700x466 px. (horizontal pictures) or 466x700 px. (vertical pìctures).

It is important to use exactly these requisites, as pictures with other resolutions or sizes will be automatically adjusted, so the picture could be cropped or expanded.

Detalle del nombre

The title for the pictures (B) shown when the gallery is opened or when the mouse is over the fotograph is taken from the file name. Underscores "_" will count as white spaces:

- "Name-Surname.jpg" will appear as "Name-Surname".
- "Name_Surname.jpg" will appear as "Name Surname".
- "Bands_name-Name_Surname.jpg" will appear as "Bands name-Name Surname"
- "Bands_name_-_Name_Surname.jpg" will appear as "Bands name - Name Surname".

Mp3 Player (A)

The Mp3 player will contain up to 5 songs, in Mp3 format (320kbps max.), and a maximun size of 8MB (each file).

For the playlist text, the name of the file will be used, without the extension (removing ".mp3"). In the right picture, the file names where "1-Novembro.mp3", "2-Moet.mp3", etc.

News (B)

The news section is built from a RSS Feed. To activate this feed in your profile, you only have to give us the RSS link.

For example, to synchronize your profile with your blog at MySpace, you should indicate us the link contained at the right-top of the MySpace blog (C).

It will be similar to:

All the blog apps (Wordpress, Bloglines, etc.) usually have a way to export the articles through RSS. The link is normally accompanied with the icon .
